而近2場回到先發陣容的鄭錡鴻，投球局數都不長，總計2場只完成7.1局的投球，防禦率是偏高的6.30，下一場能否完成5局以上的投球局數，會是兄弟取勝的關鍵。

下半季目前中信兄弟落後給義大犀牛3場勝差、桃猿6場、統一獅則是9場，不過統一雖仍落後場數逼近雙位數，仍有機會靠著兄弟奪得下半季冠軍的情況下，晉級最後的冠軍賽，前提是戰績必須要先超過桃猿。
